Pastor Damian Chandler
Pastor Damian Chandler was born in Toronto Canada, and raised on the island of Barbados. At 16, Jesus found him, in a small church that had been planted in the basement of his home. At night, he could hear the prayers of these 9 believers rising through the vents, into his room. He believes that it was those prayers that radically changed his life.
Pastor Chandler has since served at churches across the country, from Seattle Washington, to Huntsville Alabama, to Sacramento California. In August, he starts a new adventure, as the associate youth director of the South Central Conference, and with the responsibility of planting a new church in the city of Nashville.
Damian believes that the gospel is best told through story. He is the author of two books: The Crooked Christmas Tree, and his most recent book I am Jon. It is his ability to see the gospel in the simple, that has inspired thousands around the world to follow Jesus.
Pastor Chandler is passionate about ministry, but he is even more passionate about his family. He is married to his partner in life, Tanzy Chandler. Their tribe includes daughter Zoe, and sons Salem, and Levi.
